The Manx Club Aust Inc will be providing support to the Sporting Wheelies and Disabled Sport and Recreation Association of Queensland Inc in the form
of a Beach run and day out in the greatest vehicles on earth - Dune Buggies.
In order to make this happen I need as many VOLUNTEERS as possible. I have committed to 20 seats through club members but would love to take more if
possible. The day will occur on Sunday 18 Apr 2004 and will consist of a Cruise from Brisbane to Noosa Heads - Onto the Beach and up too Rainbow.
Lunch at Rainbow provided by the Assoc and then back through the Inland onto the beach and back to Brisbane. It should be a great day and well worth
the effort.
For more info on what the Wheelies Assoc is about check out their website http://www.sportingwheelies.org.au/
The day will be fully supervised by the Assoc and both the Manx Club and the Assoc have insurance to cover any concerns people have.
For more detail or to volunteer the services of you and your Buggy / Baja please contact me.
Cheers,

mmm not looking to good numbers wise... C'mon people anyone else going to support this worth while venture ?
I've only got one seat unless you want the back seat passengers to be cooked. The radiator makes it a little warm in the back seat when cruising on the highway.
So I know me van is not a baja or buggy but do i get to try and scare the bejesus out of anyone or am I the baja/buggy recovery vehical.
So come on who is coming for sure

C'mon you bloody slackers come out and donate some time for a good cause and plus it will be a heap of fun.
BUMP......:cussing
Man I'd love to. You East coasters have all the fun. I would be there with 3 seats for sure if I was on your side. Ok, it might be a bit snug in
the bug. But it would be good. I am quite proud of the club for doing this. I am surprised you can't get more seats though with what... 75 or so
members??? If a third of them took people you should have at least 20 seats. ??? I wish I could be in it. Hope it all goes well. Getting close
to the day now too huh?
Best of luck with it although I am sure you won't need it. I am just a bit sad thinking of the people who will miss out if there aren't enough
seats.
RIghtio then, seeyabye
Jamie
C'mon you "southeners".If I didn't live so far away I'd be doing it in a flash. Get out and support a worthy cause. It will give yourself and others a great deal of satisfaction. Don't be slackarses.:cry
