Headin' South
type2truck - December 15th, 2003 at 07:55 PM

Was just wondering if anyone on the forum lives along the south coast NSW into VIC as we will be heading down there in the New Year on our "Honey-moon",wondering what places are worth staying at etc.
We will be heading back home via the inland H/Ways like Albury,Dubbo,Tammworth to home.[The Northern Rivers NSW]
Hopefully we will driving a camper if we have one in time otherwise it will the "Dirty ol' Dual-cab!

Bawly point in the Racecourse beach cavavan park is a great quiet getaway, and Pambula is pretty nice too (and very quiet before christmas)

Mallacoota is pretty nice too. I think the Caravan Park at the end will pretty full during the hols though. A great drive from the highway out to the town if I remember rightly.

If you're really heading down that way though, try and push around to Wilsons Prom. Now that, is special. Not sure how camping will be at Tidal River though - again with the hols.

Squiz.....
