HAHA! Dude, that is too cool for school.
Stick some whitewalls on it and sort a way of lowering it. I'd love one of those, to use until I get my license back :(
Are you going to leave as is or paint it?

Here is my Vespa (minus rider seat). One day I would get a dual cab splitty and paint it the same colour scheme. imagine the vespa in the back of the splitty :jesus

Very cool.
We have a couple of similar styled scooters from Japan called the 'Rabbit'.
Very neat units, and similar aged to yours, but like Sppok, I'll stik to 'real bikes' to ride.

Man, that thing is awesome, well done!

Stealth - December 22nd, 2003 at 06:40 PM

Nise Vespa KG60, I would like one day a 2 seater late 50'2 lambretta to scoot on. Till then i'll cruise the streets in this :thumb.

The Tatran is a 1967, 125cc two stroke, 4 speed machine and is all 99% complete with books. It has not been started in years and is missing the windsheild and luggage rack only. I hope to get it going over xmas then get to the shop for a full overhaul so it can be regitstered for road use.

kombi_kid - December 22nd, 2003 at 06:43 PM

OvalGlen - December 27th, 2003 at 11:10 PM

so what sort of money do we need to get on something like this?

Stealth - December 28th, 2003 at 06:53 PM

Glenn,

I purchased this for $1600 and rode it around the street yesterday after sorting out the electricals. It now just needs 2 new batteries and a roadworthy to get registered. Restoration with paint job and the like will cost more, but it goes and i will ride it for a while and enjoy it. It will be a weekend travel only until i'm sure it will not breakdown half way to work (about 30klm)

Thanks for looking
