I am a Brissie fella and thought I might put a post and see if someone might know a lass thats into VWs as then we would certainly have something incommon, I know strange as it may seem but well hey you never know, and she would have to like em as I won't be parting with my collection and love tinkering. Not been doing much on the Dual cab or the 58 but with Valla coming up am thinking that better get cracking,and I have never been yet! and then it is a tuff choice, will have to trailer Mums 56 down and put her in the oldest owner driver in the show! Anyone know what the record for oldest one owner driver of a Volkswagon is? She has been driving the same car for 48 years, and blow me down if she didn't trade in a black 54 to buy the new oval.lol Well have great xmas and happy New Year, oh yer

my lady actually got me out of jap sports cars and into vw's. she loved the beetles and always wanted one. but over the years now i hae really gotten into the style and the way people react. they all love 'em deep down. and when i bought our first split, when all jac wanted was a chop beetle, there has been no looking back.

my bf was a hardcore volvo type until i got the beetle. Now hes a hardcore volvo type with a penchant for dubs. im sure if i work with a few more dubs i can fully convert him (actually, i hope i dont because his volvo is great for camping, shopping and knocking down fences.)

oh hello up there in brizzy, well im a chick way into kombis and got my ex into them too. he bought me a splitty for my birthday then we eventually found a 21 window, my eyes nearlly popped out of my head when i saw it. anyway hes an ex cos hes an ex but he took the 21 window with him!!!!! i will never get another man into splittys!!! sorry i cant help you, brissy too far away and im about to pop a future splitty person out of me.:bounce
