OMG Today we took the muffler off my mates Puegeot 306 and it sounded sikk so then we went to the nearest exhuast place and just got a pipe to the end of the car which only cos $40. and cos the car still has a CAT and the other muffler it must be roadworthy.

If u can take off the muffler wifout cutting or anything and just see how it sounds then go to muffler place. if it doesent sound good just put muffler back on. make shore u take all the parts to the muffler cos its cheaper if they dont need to get new parts.

And it sounds like a car without a muffler?

It has a muffler cos it had 2 of em. now it sounds like a skyline or some jap shit

If you did that on a Vee Dub you would end up with a Stinger exhaust!!

Actually, that "other muffler" is called a resonator. I'd be very surprised if the new sound level is legal.

OH. well atleast thats good to know now. but all the cars eg. lancers wif sports exhuasts are louder then it
