Special thanks to all who braved the elements for the BBQ today. Looked like we were gonna have to knock up an Ark at one stage, but the upside was we have decided to start Der Chicken Chokers Schwimwagen Club. Pic was taken just after the choking. (Hence the smiles)

It was great to meet you all and put some faces and some names to the profiles !

We managed to get back over the W/gate though a paddle would have been handy !

I reckon it was a good turnout, the weather gave us something to talk about besides VW's. The trip home was exiting, there was so much water on the road me bus was like a wet version of a snow plough, I may have to raise it up a millimeter or 2.

some nice busses there,i was at the park having a bbq,with the yellow kombi,didnt talk to anyone but checked out your vans,:thumb

We wondered who owned the kombi with the brms. We were tryin to work out how to create a diversion so as I could switch the wheels. Phew, that was lucky I would feel guilty drivin around on stolen dubber wheels. It was a nice lookin van, even if it was a bit high.

You're a cheeky b@&+@%d Dave. Just because you can pass more than an A4 sheet of paper under it, doesn't mean it's high. Yours looked sweet with the BRM's Trav. We'll catch up next time.
