would it wreck the originality???

heyyy all

as youse know i am restoring my 65 notch
and i just found out that my dad has all this leather cream, black, grey
and i was wondering would it wreck the originality if i put leather int innit and if i do what color should i do it???

its goin on a light blue notch with silver BRM'S and 2 silver empi stripes down the drivers side

and ideas???

Without nick picking you are going to do more "damage" to "originality" with the stripes.
Any purist can always pull the trim out later.

Go for it !!
LOVE leather - yeah i know it sweats, but it looks and smells great!

Colour - well, i like the grey. Wont show the dirt as muck as cream and not as sombe as black

leather is a definate go-er. nothing beats the smell of a skinned cows backside.:) black with grey sides sounds good.

leather, but make sure it is done properly and make sure you look after it. black or cream will suit best. leather is magnificent, but if not treated right can look a horror in 10yrs time.

Yeah go for it, unless you are cutting and welding the body or modifying the pan, things like interior trim, paint colour/stripes, etc etc can always be turned back quite easily.

If you wanted an original car, you wouldn't be running BRMs, or stripes - break the mould :thumb
