Just wondering if any of yous know of any good web sites that are informative as to the changes of the beetles in the past specially in the 60s, Ive been told mines a 67 but a few things just dont add up, would like to know exactly how original it is.

if this photo is of your bus it certainly isnt
a 60 anything dude

try this site its pretty informative http://crittersworld.tripod.com/history.html  but if u check the 3rd number in your vin it will tell u the year

according to your vin it is a 67 but use the website i posted to check ....it might just hav soem accesories from a 68 or somehting that confuses u

Bus is 72, absolutely positive on that one, :P
Beetle according to chass number is 67 clear on that now but an original pic of a 67 with no modifications absolutely standard would come in handy just so i can compare bumpers and lights and stuff like that, also info on brakes and engines , mines a 1300 deluxe according to badges, was there two produced this year perhaps a standard and then a deluxe model......need an expert on 67s.
