Maybe it was done "in A factory"......not "in THE factory". Maybe I can bring my Ford AU into our factory and put a VW badge on the bonnet and then flog it off as a factory VW wagon with 6cyl, powersteer, a/cond etc. Yes.....thats what I'll do......:D

Nah, he doesn't post here. I met the owner a few months back (picked up a muffler from him). I recognise his face from the photo on eBay. He is a real backyard master. He was building his "Factory" cabrio and what a hack job that was. He had a few VWs in the backyard in various state of disrepair.
