Geeeezz Sam
Thats a good looking shifter HEHEHE.
i dont understand what it does:bounce
dave, hav u seen one of these before?
yeh jason, thanks, its amazing wat u find in some peoples garages..
costa it folds down, like flat against the transmission tunnel,
i dont know why this one does it though, ive seen them where they lock down as a security device so no one can use ur gears, but this doesnt hav the a
lock.
desert bug, wat did u do with it, did u just lie it flat wen u parked or something?
maybe good for wen u hav ur girl in the front seat and dont want a shifter sticking into u...:kiss
Sam you got it in one!!!!
ha cool:bounce
sweet wish they made one for the Audi as well
There also known as a courting gear stick.
nIck:kiss
Yes Sam ive seen a few of them
so is it for sale or are you buying it or do you already own it ??
Sam, I would suggest that if you install this on your car and it's a daily driver, bring an open-end spanner and a spare gearstick. I had one in my Ghia years ago and it broke, I was stuck. The same episode happened to a friend too. If it is in really good condition, it shouldn't be a problem, they tend to be old and worn by the time we usually find them...
Old and worn, allright i,ll get my mind out of the gutter now, you will youassually find them in an early beetle acompnied with the camper adjustable front seats, you simply push the front seats all the way foward then lay the back of the front seats down, with the gear stick down allready(not yours) then fold the top of the back seat foward, hey presto a bed and a bit of hanky panky if your lucky.:thumb:thumb:thumb
You haven't been playing that kahma sutra game have you andrew.
hay Graham can lend you the book if you would like it . great pic and plenty of positions to choose from. this is lilly bug so the boy has no hand in this answer just so you don't get up him.
my old man has had a couple of those for years(will never part with them though).yes vw fool you are correct they are for parking if you know what i mean.
thats funny, i said that as a joke but it is wat its used for.
thanks for the great info, and yes dave i now own it.
