After visiting the Tassie ferry I headed into Brunswick St for dinner at the Retro and wandered down to the Latin Festival.
Saw so many nice VW's around and had a really sweet kombi park behind Dr Livingston.
Often wonder if any of the VW's I see are from the forum (?)
It can be Vee Dubb spotting heaven down there :kiss
YOU SHOULD HAVE CALLED ME !!
o'well, i did want to go but the 5 minute drive sounded daunting
i forgot to see a friend who was working there, and yes i see many a dub when i am there, some real sweet ones too
I sort of didn't plan on going there, and didn't have your phone number on me. Next time I plan to head down there I'll call you.
Where does you friend work? The staff at Retro are great, I love it there:thumb
Had Bob the dog with me. The waiter brought out a very large stainless steel dog bowl and poured him a bottle of water
Had forgotten the festival was on and thought Brunswick St looked busy even for a Sat. night, as I turned into it.
Bob loves going out, he gets lots of pats and attention. One guy gave him his paella which he said he couldn't finish warning me that it may be
too hot (as in spicy) but Bob has been bred on my curries. He was one spoilt boy!!
They had some excellent live Cuban music happening on the stage. Pity Bob can't dance, he just wanted to fall asleep and get the occasional pat
Honestly though there are always some nice original looking VW's around there.
I live just near there and I have seen 1 or 2 kool VW in the area ,If youre ever near there again and you want some kool stuff go to LOCOLOWRIDERS and ROCKET 88 2 koolest shops.:puke
I love to shop along there, well mainly browse unless I see something I really can't resist. Some of the shops do have the best stuff, and
different :thumb
Love a late long Sunday breakfast and then a wander:kiss
Jen, your letting out the secret....SSSSSHHHHH, dont tell anyone
Jo and I go there at least once a week in the warmer months. Good place for lunch or just a coffee, great B'fast menu and always good for the
music. The Hotty Notch gets to cruise down there once a month or so to keep the faith.
I was going to organize a 2nd B'fast run soon and the Retro was on the drawing board for this event, might see if we can go in the new year.
Cheers
Sorry for letting the cat out of the bag LOL
I'll be in that breakfast!!
Was there again last night after picking Bel up from Epping and on the way to check out Altona.
Gave Bel a run and timed the run between my place and the reserve. Haven't been over that way for a long time. So glad they have reopened the
roads around Docklands, it makes getting onto the bridge more staight forward, avoiding the city. Sweet, only 1 hour from Croydon.:thumb
Yeh great idea easier place to park than Chapel.Me and my T3 will be at that one couldnt make it to that one still havent got her finished.I mean I couldnt let her out unfinished . :sandrine
