Saggy bum
rustycamper - January 23rd, 2004 at 07:04 PM

Are early bays supposed to sit lower on their rear suspension than the later bays or is just because they are getting tired?

My 71 has always been lower at the back than the front but I figured that it was getting old and had the weight of the camper bed back there. But since I have been looking it seems that all of the early bays I see sit lower at the back than the front whether they are campers or not.

Any thoughts on this?

My 74 sags in tha arse, probably because of the iron block datto motor. There is a plus side to that though, when i put my saggy arse in the front seat it lookes like a lowerd bus....lol :D

Yep! I've got a saggy arse too! but keep it to yourselfs pls

my vans a 78 and its the same just the fact of the torsion bars setteling out.

I supose its like middle age spread for a bay window.

it also means u only have to lower the front now , making it cheaper:P

Now that sounds like a plan :)

At the moment when I am camping I always have to back up a small hill so our heads are not lower than our feet in bed but if I lowered the front...

I think I have just worked out how to justify a lowered bus to my better half :bounce
