Hope someone can help here ....
A friend is getting married in March & asked if I could find someone with a beautiful Splitty to use as a wedding car.
The wedding will be held on the 27th March in Byron on the beach & the reception is nearby.
So....if anyone knows someone out there
who could help out please let me know.
As this particular couple met in a VW its only fair that they get married near one.
Hopefully someone can help.

okay. tell me the dates for this event and i will see what i can do. can someone help with accomadationfor me and the lady if we do?
the bus has been used for a formal and a weding b4 (when in the old trim).
pics of the bus below. and am sure a white dress would stand out good on a matt black split. hope the climate would be a little softer, as i dont have air con. but i do have the safaris and the pair of pop outs up back. oh and a great sound system....

is this the other one youre talking about. im sure he is form up that way.... this would make a good wedding car for sure...

Yes I agree that Blue one is beautiful.
27th March is the wedding at Byron.
I am sure we can find some accomodation for you & your loverly Kombi.
Could make a weekend out of it & do a
cruise with Klub members etc.
This year mine was used too for a yr 10
formal & a wedding.
Is that date convenient for you TwoGuns ?

Yep, thats Barrys van - fantastic vehicle. Barry was nice enough to let us use it for our wedding last year - stole the show!

So far in these last few months I've been getting lots of phone calls in regards to splittys for weddings....
Wouldn't it be nice to have some on call when we needed some for weddings...
I suggest we could have a business hiring out splits for wedding....what a nice business that would make.

I agree, they are definatly the flavour of the month, or is that the flavour of the year...:P.

You can't deny that they add a lot more character than the average white (yawn) Statesman.

...just money - thats all we need!

dohh. you even posted the date in the first post. i just didnt read it properly. unfortunately i am not availaible that weekend. am in sydney, with my sister and mum. so sorry . hope you do get a solution though. :kiss
