Still looking for a towbar for my 1969 Kombi. Which year range is the same rear end setup as 1969 so I can increase my chances of finding one?

A 69 is different to later models in some regards, but virtually identical to a 68. Where the towbar is concerned, I believe you will be able to use one off any model with the smaller engine bay, which I believe would be 68-72, but don't quote me on this, I've only ever owned later models...

i would imagine that any bus with the same bumper style as yours would fit?, so about the same years as Colin said.

72 Models have the bigger engine bay and tail lights. The rear bumper bar from a 68 to 71 will not fit a 72. Therefore I doubt that the towbar from a 72 onwards will fit your 69. Should be right with 68 to 71 models.
