Amazing what abit of hard work and little money can produce. My 67 is a rolling project ,just been dropped at the front and as new rims are a while
off yet i decided to at least get the rims cleaned up and put my borroewd 6" wide oe rims on with the 205/65,s. I just hand sanded the rims down
nice and flat then gave them 4 coats of high temp satin black paint , also repalced a hub cap. The 5 hours it took to do was worth it and the car sits
great. Just have to wait on finding my 135's and it will be sorted. I also managed to get hold of some trade polishess etc as my OE paint was
getting really dull and flat. After hiring some polishing mops ($40) and about another 5 hours of sweating my head off my car looks 100% better. New
painted rims and a real shine to the paint! Mind you i think it cost me $100 in beer to keep evryone happy. Worth it though! Seeing my car get closer
to how i want it makes it worth all the time , hassle and money it costs me
One happy camper!
