pics of custom side steps on my bus
pyr0 - February 9th, 2004 at 05:52 PM

ok guys i dont know if you heard before but i made so custom side steps for my bus,

it started when i saw the delux steps that came out on next to none of the kombi's.....at first i wanted to buy some but it turned out them being so rare made them either really expensive or non existant.....:P go figure :bounce

so i set out to make some, in decideing this i found someone who had a step so i go the dimensions off him (some one on ebay ??)

i then orderd the steal and got welding.....the only prob was i forgot to take pics of the welding stage so thats why they go from steal to primered :( opps

so anyway i got them made.....they go into the jack mounts, and to be extra safe i put a bolt through them and the jack mounts in case some one tries to take them :thumb

any way dont mind my ramblings heres the pics

Great job Pyro!
Hadn't seen these before, but was planning on doing some side protection rails for the Desert Spitty mounting them the same way.
Ian.
