is a 1600cc case the same bolt patern as 2ltr ?

is the bolt dimensions the same for a 1600 cc case as a 2ltr .do they bolt up the same . thanks seagull

Yes they are, but the 2ltr flywheel won't fit into a beetle bell housing.

and if you are installing a 2L type IV into a beetle you may have to change the lower two mounting studs with shorter beetle ones.
