ok, I did not delete it, but it is in the suspended post section so I had a read of it.

Now it looks like your getting upset cos you bought a judson supercharger expecting it to be brand spanking new, but it had grease or something on it, and now your upset.

Now the original sellor did say it's never been on a car, I don't know if he just meant his own car. When asked to clarify Brad replied that he had seen it, and said it is like brand new (not new, but fairly close) and had spent most of it's life in grease paper, however brad had only seen it and not pulled it apart and examined it.

So I would expect your supercharger should look pretty good and have minimal internal wear. If you have an issue with the person whom sold it to you, take it up with them personally without broadcasting the whole debate on the forum. Ring the guy, email him, U2U him, whatever.

You'll find when I suspend posts (I don't delete them) I tend to leave behind a post explaining why (see tech talk right now, for example).

We need a rating scheme like eBay has for the Buying and Selling forum.

To late for Michaelangelo's David its already been censored and in the cruelest way. The vatican commisioned a sculptor to replace ithe penises of many classic sculptures in the possesion of the catholic church, David got the chop, and had a grape leaf attatched to guard his new found eunicness. The pennis said to have been of prodigious proportions now resides (with many others) in a draw within the Vatican City. ..... closely guarded and cherished by nuns it is rumoured! ...LOL MItchell

please don't jump down my neck but I think the guys do a hell of a job with this forum and I would think it would be very time consuming.

i love the forum, am probably a little addicted as it is a way for me to keep in touch witht he vw scene as i am not in sydney anymore. enjoy the threads, comments and debates.
i do agree with andrew though, that we should have a rating thread like what i have seen on the samba. this way if you have a good experience you can voice it, and the same if you have a bad or get ripped. as we all have to take a lot on face value, we are looking to the honest ethics that everyone on here should have. so i think a feed back section should be in place.
i know ash on here let me pick up goods b4 i had paid. it was a case of busy schedules, but we trusted each other and it turned out fine. although i have paid now and still havnt actualy seen my purchases,as they are still in melbourne... at my uncles....

at the end of the day & when the fat lady sings, the www. is not like real life.

u can use all the smillies you like and post as many piks as you want, but its never going to be like standing face toi face and interacting with someone and checking out an item in real life..

Ok I have just logged in and read this and there is a few facts I need to make clear.
1- I removed the post to the suspended area, why ?? Because it was slagging people off as a result of a deal that went a little wrong and the person who posted it had not had the common descency to contact the seller and let him know he had issues first. So I temporarily removed the post to allow both parties to talk first.
2 - in the same 30 seconds I took to remove it I sent a U2U and Email to the person in question explaining this, once these had sent I logged off the internet and rang the person on his Ph line and spoke to him about it.

3- Even though this is the internet I think it is very weak character to slag someone off over a deal which you were not happy with when you had not even made a descent attempt to contact the person. The post was only up for a little while but damage has still be done to peoples reputations.

If more clarification is needed I will happily provide. I have informed the people involved that I will put the post back once the buyer and seller have at least spoken or made each other aware of the issues, this is currently happening.

Would the administrator that suspended the posting re the Judson supercharger re-instate same please.volma1

This seems like a right kerfuffle. I wish I'd have thought of generally slagging people the first or second time I got ripped off when not buying what I though I was buying.

If it's not new in the box with the wrapper with an appropriate refund/return policy - buyer beware.

To those couple of people that ripped me off over the years, hey good luck to ya, ya missed out the next 20 grand I spent somewhere else.
