Sky - February 20th, 2004 at 05:52 AM

Hi all,

Some of you may remember Im trying to hunt for my cars colour, well I just got an email back from germany,

Dear Mr. Fitzgerald,

We will send the birth certificate to you this week. However, the colour of your Volkswagen is not mentioned at the vehicle data base. We will send you the possible colours along the birth certificate. We ask for your understanding.

Sky the easiest way to match your paint is take it to a smash repairers and they can do it quite easily. I doudt very much your car rolled out the factory that colour, funky colour!!

hihi babybug

you can either send snail mail or email, cost is $15 euro dollars, if they can't find the info they won't charge, takes about 2-3 weeks, if you keep emailing them, :) I was told 4 weeks but I kept emailing a few days.

You just need your VIN number,

they tell you,

Model
Engine #
Colour (if they can)
Extras
Built on
Left Factory on
Country of Destination

now for the contact info.
