Hey! Overall do you guys and gals think if this 77
microbus is well serviced and mantained it will get me to Caringbah and back to Camden everyday no probs its about 1 hour each way but pretty flat
smooth 110 kms per deal
You said before it was going to be a work vehicle.
What sort of weight are you going to be carrying???
I wouldnt count on the 110km/hr too much - especially if you want economy and longevity.
More like 95 - 100 km/hr
Invest in some elephant ears and one of those bolt on oil coolers

all in all.........
looks like a nice clean bus......
KEEP ON DUBBING
think the only problem you might encounter at 110km/h is heat exhaustion to your engine....in summer months. Especially from air cooled engine. Better to travel that distance in a water cooled...by a late model t3 bus, still vw pretty cheap and water cooled.
if you want to run at 110km/h your going to be doing around 4000-5000 rpm which isnt healthy for any engine for long periods!
cheers
