Dual Stinger
Dannyboy - February 22nd, 2004 at 06:57 PM

In the 80's in the UK there was a stinger that was 2 outlets , i.e 2 merged to 1 bolt flange. I think they were called RX or something. I want one and would love a point in the right direction and idea of cost if i CAN track one down.

i know the ones you mean, it was RX something....
i don't know if they've been made recently, i think they were an old thing which is now a rare/expensive thing....

Oh well , looks like i'll have to get one made. Just wanted something different for the shows etc. Had one in the Uk and they sound great!

i wouldn't have thought that it would be too hard for a good welder to knock one together, then just bolt it to a generic 4-1 header system....

I'll have to keep my eyes open for an old 3 bolt flange but need to know what extractor i'm using first. Got a 1300 6v 67 but will be throwing a 1776 in it and want to use the same extractors. Haven't found out yet what size or merged is available to use , any ideas?

I'm getting my Dad to check at home. He has a barn (lucky sod) that is the garage and i have heaps of stuff piled up in a dark corner and i can't remember selling it off so it may be hidden away somewhere. I'll know in about 6 months though by the time he gets around to it
