Buying a Splitty from US

Is it worth buying a splitty from the US now that the Oz $ is very strong.

How much to ship to Austarlia from California roughly.

Is it able to be registered as a LH drive?

More expensive to insure etc.

as I understand it you can't register LHD here.

There are PLENTY here just put a post your budget and someone will find you one

Fatboy u are incorrect u can register LHD as long as its 30+ years older :)

Need to sell peach first. Pissing me off how no real interest.

Splittys in the states are so much cheaper than here even after shipping costs (assuming 2k) here.

you will have to add the cost of Airfare. accomodation, car rental, and meals, as you will most certainly get ripped off if you dont inspect the car yourself ........
