Messages of well wishes for the farked bug girls
Baja Wes - February 27th, 2004 at 10:35 AM

OK, so if you have read the farked bug post, then you will know what this post is about. Some nice girls driving a vw bug became innocent victims of some idiots driving a holden whilst chroming, unlicenced and underaged. We feel for these girls, and would like to send them messages of support. Please post below.

To Sonja and Marina,

When I saw the article of your unfortunate accident in the newspaper, I was disappointed to see something so horrible happen to an innocent pair of girls.

Although we cannot changed what happened, we can try to show that there are more nice people in the world, than there is bad people.

I wish you a speedy recovery and if possible would like to try to make your stay in hospital as pleasant as possible. If there is anything we can do, don't be afraid to ask. Stay positive and time will fly. :thumb

On behalf of Wes and Meegan.

Hi Sonya! Hi Marina!

What happened to you is absolutely horrible, and I hope you're getting better. In a few years though, you may look back and say you've grown stronger because of it. After all, someone threw a car at you, and you survived. Now that's tough!

The sympathetic efforts of the Vee Dubber's on your behalf, may be pretty overwhelming and perhaps intimidating too. You've both had so much to deal with emotionally, and now a bunch of strangers are knocking down your door worried about your welfare. Please don't panic about it. On the surface, these people may seem nostalgic for car's, but they are also nostalgic for a time when life was friendlier, and people looked out for each other.

We are just trying to prove to you that amongst the growing number of selfish, stupid people out there, there are some with heart.

I hope to see you behind the wheel of another Dub real soon. You've got a whole community looking out for you, and it's a great thing to be a part of.

All the best,

Martin.

P.S. You can trade your new adoptive status for a whole bunch of favours, and in doing so, make people feel happy about giving. Some of these guys want to build you a car, and you'll probably never have to pay a mechanic ever again if you play your cards right! They don't want anything in return except a smile. Now that's cool!
