the All Gals Dub Day was a total success... well done to ALL those chickie that made it... and had a degree in retail therapy by the end of the day!
(and to the gals pointing out all the Betty Boop stuff... most of which i bought!)

I think we had about 9 cars and 12 gals... not too big n not too small... just right!

Hope to hear of another one again soon Judy!

To all who went...
We had the best day!
As some of you knew I have a handbag with a little beetle on it I carry everywhere.
Was quite a surprise to find for sale this same handbag... & you can guess what happened...Most of the girls bought one in every colour....hehehe
I took a pic of some for sale & will be posting that on here later.

Anyway to all the girls who went...

and i have ordered one of the bags...yay...can't wait!
i am sorry i missed out...i had uni stuff on all day saturday and sunday crappy craperton.
but i would be very interested in coming along to the next events that is organised...and know of 2 other dubbing girls who will come along also.

but i do have one tiny suggestion......
due to not having any real funds for shopping trips....and not so much desire for harbour town......
could we maybe organise something else....dare i say it...something more car-orientated?
i for one would be really interested in doing something where i got to learn more about my car.....it would be especially cool in an all-female no-testosterone no-intimidating-people-who-know-way-too0much-about-cars environment.
if i ever need to do stuff to my car i ALWAYS end up getting help from one of my guy friends. it would be totally awesome if i could ring up some of my girl friends for car advice/an extra pair of hands.

I dont know about Bruce cleaning all the cars.
Jodie had me going all saturday afternoon and sunday morning cleaning the Kombi, and then tried to run me over on the way out!

Took daughter (who is not dub inclined) and she wanted me to thank all of you for making her feel so welcome.
She has been out with another type of car group and couldn't stop commenting on how easy and relaxed we all were and how the others were all uptight and continually putting down the other cars.

She is looking forward to maybe joining us in other things, but will have to drive "another Car".

Doesn't matter what the car looks like. My Type 3 has multiple shades of yellow for paint work and the interior needs work, but hey - who cares!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looks real shabby next to the nice and shiny paint jobs, but the most important thing is that its our car and we love it, and that is what counts.

Bring yours along to the next one and all of us that went will nearly guarrantee you will have fun if what is planned is to your liking.

how come you were worried..? nothing to worry about...just didn't come home when i expected to....then didn't have such good internet access....
am back in brisbane now and settled again (was so sad when i first got back, i think i had reverse-culture-shock)
happy to be in the T3 again...had it on the road for a few months now but its not the same as it used to be, i mean, i think i left it sitting uncared for for too long....am wondering if water got into my fuel tank or it rusted a bit in there or something....
