Just checked out OZ VW Business. Are there no business in Tassie related to VWs? I have one we can list. Have had quotes for parts from Andrew Robinson Automotive. 19 Pearl St. Derwent Park Tas 7009. Ph/Fax (03) 62721137. His prices seemed to compare OK to the alternative of buying from the Big Rock.
Also can anyone give me a contact name and number for someone in a Southern Tas VW Club. Nothing in the phone book and we would like to get to know some beetle people to pick there brains. Shakira's (16yo daughter's) 69 beetle is coming along nicely. Will post some before and after pics when Betty's finished. :bounce

Hi Debbie,

Although I have since left sunny Tassie for the even sunnier WA, I dealt with Andrew for many years when I was living in Hobart and continued to take my car to him when I went to Launceston rather than use anyone else.
I found his prices to be great and more importantly for me if I ever had an issue with some thing he supplied then it was not an issue, he would always do his best to ensure I was happy.
