I guess the upside is that it's still German engineering. Personally, I'd take the slammed Merc over a slammed Bug any day! (I know I'm gonna get into trouble for saying that, but I like to have some elbow room! :o)

Man I've always wanted one of the 'finnie' mercs with the 6.3lt donk- the would be so sweet slammed to the ground :cool: .
U can pick em up for a song to- also get full leather interior, electric everything......

Not the big 8's you can't. They still fetch abit unless you find someone who does'nt know what they have.

I would love an m100 600. That would be the ultimate. Which is the one I think you're talking about, with the 6.3. But they go for alot more than a song.

There were a few coupes and convertibles that escaped the factory with 6.3's as well. But these are worth a few vital organs a piece.

There were also a couple of 280S's that got the 6.3's by owners who custom ordered them with the motors. But we never got any in Aus and have only seen a couple online.
