When your inside the car lean over and push the lever that opens the door forward. This locks the door

is this meant to happen with the drivers door also or is it only the passenger door???

Canni. - March 8th, 2004 at 03:33 PM

only the passenger door... you have to look the drivers door with the key..

blutopless2 - March 9th, 2004 at 08:16 AM

so you can't lock the drivers door from inside the car while you are in it???

LittleMissHerbina - March 9th, 2004 at 08:32 AM

no but why would you want to lock yourself in???

Unless you do it from through the window!!!

blutopless2 - March 9th, 2004 at 09:37 AM

mostly just from habit I guess, (am so used to central locking in new cars) and also today's environment.... nice to know that you can at least lock the doors from the inside of the car if required.
May have to fit central locking on this one.

I've considered locking mine through the window with the key... never actually done it I don't think.
