I have got pictures on a disk that i want to show off but theyare too big.

get them on screen. then right click the image and go to open with photo editing. there you can go to edit and image size. change the image size to about 470-500 wide and then save in a file. when you you go to where you saved youcan wave your mouse ove r the pic. and it will tell you the size. if less than 50kb you can post. if not repeat above and make a little smaller.

hope this was simple enough. i know sometimes i am not clear.

im real slow with em also. it took about four months b4 i could save a picture from 'busselecta'. turned out it was so bloody simple. :cry
so i understand. maybe you need a club run to your place. a bbq and we all rock on over to sort out the issues.

If you're using Windows XP, this power toy will help (it's what I use most of the time):

The image resizer tool is the one you want. After installing it, right click an image (or images), and make the images about 640x480. That should bring them in under 50 kb. If not, just keep making 'em smaller.

Andrew I have got the image resizer but how do I make them smaller than the smallest one. 640 x 480 still brings my pics to 60kb
Cheers

if you have photoshop then open them and save as a jpg on the lowest quality then resize from there.......if u do this u can still maintain a largish picture but a small file size..........if you dont have photoshop or a similar program then u will have to settle for reziseing the pic.......make sure however that you save them as jpg images and not bmps or gifs as jpgs are smaller files:thumb
