I know Colin who owns this car in Singapore as he runs the only VW shop over there Volkshaven. He took me to a brilliant show in Malaysia called Bugfest and he is a top bloke. Old VW's can't be imported into Singapore, and you have to pay $30,000 just to have the right to drive a car on the road over there for 10 years, so that pushes the price up!

I'm heading over there this weekend with work again. Thought you may be interest.

thats crazy......
i love the way the emphasise the fact there is no airconditioning, disc brakes, ect.
As if we cant live without it!!!!
Cool looking car though... it would want to make your breakfast every morning for that price!!!

i met a nice guy over there in kuala lumper he drives a gold beetle anyone know him??? he said he's in the club there anyone have the club URL???
