On Ya Neil

Another saved from biting the dust... I guess you will need to give the chassis number when you pick it up so the experts can give you date of birth and what it ate last before it was parked!!

VW passions are high in WA

58/59 at a guess as those indicators look like fakies. and does that have safaris or is it jus the way the rubber is sitting.

VolksFolks - March 27th, 2004 at 09:07 AM

G/day

Has 9 Louvres Which Makes It Pre 62,,,, When You Have The Chassis Number We Can Find Out Year And Month,,

As For The Weight, You Are Looking Around 800 - 850 kg With No Motor

The bus will not be restored it is far to rusty .
But the roof is great and the front floor under the seats are very good ,the stearing box is good and the gear box & reduction hubs move well . Most of the glass is there and in good nick .

I will say a few words before and cut it up .

All prase to the V W gods

But at least it will help other splits live on .seagull

VWFOOL - March 27th, 2004 at 05:38 PM

hey seagull
nice find
just picked a bus up myself, hav a look in members rides...

baybuscamperkid - March 27th, 2004 at 06:30 PM

tis a shame to have to cut it up, but i can see even from the first photo why. hopefulle just like a deceased person its organs can go on to help another ten or so busses live a little longer.

robnjo - March 27th, 2004 at 06:47 PM

Hey Neil
See my post in the Buy, Sell & Swap section. I am after the area around the rear guards if the ones on your bus are any good. Pics?
