We are headed there for the first time on our hols would love tips ideas and suggestions of where to visit and where to camp etc
Camp near Ely creek. Fairly central and a great spot to launch all your exploratory tours.
I've been a couple of times :P
Fraser is great make sure you get into the inland lakes and also Central station. If you aren't into Beach camping Central is a good place to pitch
camp.
If not we usually camp just Nth of Eurong
Champayne Pools is another great place
Lake MacKenzie, and That other lake inland with the steep sand dune going into the water. It's a great place... I got nipped by a dingo though, so be
careful especially with kids.
