Klub VW Klub Fest 2004 will be held at Cleveland this year instead of Toowoomba. It is being held at G.J.Walter park right behind the Grand View Hotel on Shore street east. Their is going to be 15 publicly judged categories plus 3 chosen buy Klub VW members. It will be a fun day with a DJ, Hot food, An ice cream van and an expresso van. There is a play ground at the park for the kids and the park is located right on the water with plenty of shady areas.

Gates open at 8.30 am on sunday the 2nd of may.

So come along and have a great day buy the bay.

I saw the paragraph about the show in the CAR section of the courier mail. nice work.

I think the "250" cars is a little optimistic though...

We are trying to get to 250, I have spent the day dropping leaflets on cars in carparks and dropping in letterboxes where ever I see a VW parked. Even went to the door of one place and they will (hopefully) be there with loads of bettle bits and mags for a swap site.

Hey we can only try to make it the best we can.

Cant wait. Have to take 2 cars 1 for bits and 1 to show.

I guess I am just basing my pessimism on the fact I have been to about 8 klub fest's, and most were lucky to get 50 cars. But hopefully the new location and date will bring a change in attendance numbers, and make it better than ever :thumb

Well you got to look on the brighter side of things now and then...

As for last year Klub Fest in Toowoomba, Alec had over 200 entrants for Trophies... so not sure which Klub Fest you went to last year...... It was my second one and i was rather impressed with the turn out...

If you are considering a Trade or Swap Site it might be good if you could come before or around 8.00am so that you can be set up ready to go before 8.30 when everyone else is coming in...

Anyone know when registration for the show finishes?

I've had a cold/flu the last few days and I am having trouble getting out of bed in the morning. Plus Cleveland is a fair hike from my house.

Typical I'm working till 1330 or 1430 carn't remember !! So close but yet so far !!!!!!!

well my cold/flu thing combined with hayfever today to really drive me nuts. So I didn't feel like washing my car, and I should probably stay home and rest tomorrow. So take plenty of photo's for me guys.

its going to be an interesting walk from the train station to the show... but checking out those shiny dubs is worth the hike!

It was a great day.....93 cars entered the show categories, 20 odd cars in the swap area and I counted over 50 veedubs parked outside....Job well done guys.
