Hey Jen, that's the "non-split" logo, which is for those members without a split. (eg. 58 beetles). "Der Chicken Chokers Split Club" is for those members with anything split. (preferably a bus or beetle - but not necessarily). See pic.

Brad. We could have everyone meet at your place for a 5 minute cruise, or how bout at Grego's place for a 2 minute cruise? Plenty of parking available for our International delegates. Anyone have any ideas on a date? Haven't told 'er indoors' yet, but I'll deal with that one later.

Jim, it's not as easy as just signing up. You also have to be able to demonstrate suitable evidence of obsessive- compulsive behaviour. How do you think you'd fare? Photo evidence would suffice.

3 current VW's, and not one currently driving on the road..

As we speak I am getting ready to go and seek the 4 other Beetles I sourced during the week, and possibly an Oval on Sunday.

You would think that would be enough, but I am still on my quest for a daily, and made my appointment with the bank for Tuesday, so then I can just step out and find the right car.

This very tool we communicate with and on, was actually my idea, so we, the Australian VW Community, could talk, deal, and seek help online, and essentially, spend more of our time on a daily basis, talking about the things we feel most passionate about.

Finally I guess, is my VW tattoo.. I spose that is more insanity than obsessive compulsive, but it shows my commitment, and demonstrates that I'll be in this scene for a while yet..

Yeah Jim, Look. Put it to the board and they're OK with it. It all looks pretty good, but they'd like to see a fridge. I reckon if you could do a fridge you'd have to be pretty close.

DO a fridge? Now to me, that has two meanings.

1. In the UK, they used to get the old chest fridges like mine, weld the door shut, cut a fairly large hole in the front representing a buses ragtop, remove motor and other crap, then lay the fridge on it's back. Now we add wheels, pedal car drivetrain and seat, kombi style paint, and we have our very own KOMBI SHOW PEDAL CAR!!

And you saw panel repairs, well some genius didn't use etch primer, and when ripping the tape off from the flames, ripped half the satin off as well.. :o
