hehe good day, i just got back. That last pic is great! the Penrose Bug wheelied in 1st and 2nd gear! it bent its wheelie bar in the process

Just had a shower and i have serious t'shirt tan and look like a Panda as i wore my sunnies allday!
Good day shame that there wasn't over many folks to cheer the dubs on. There should have been a mix of cars racing though , V8 v Flat 4's , save
having to watch mostly V8's running eachother at the VW Nats. Either way it was a great day!!

and danny, i dunno where you two we're off to but i followed the signs for sydney.....and got home just fine.
even though i only had one headlight, and all my dashboard lights just stopped workin half way home...

Just after Jon peeled off Paramatta road i had a guy pull out on me in a Skyline and i had the car fully sideways and how i didn't hit him or roll

Awesome racing, the Penrose car and the wheelies were amazing.
Was good to see the Fords getting flogged by Chryslers and Holden's as well.....it is simply the order of things in the Automotive universe.
when i saw all the v8s there i thought we might get some vee dubs whooping v8s.... now that i woulda liked to see!!!!
i've gotta admit, i thought it was bad planning to have so many v8 only racing eachother at an event called the vw nationals...... i'm not saying
they shouldn't be there. but maybe they shoulda been racing against the vee dubs instead of just against other v8s.
