I got a quote today to drop my 77 bay adjustable front end fitted drop the rear to match i think 4-5 inchs $850 +gst does that sound like the going rate drive" in drive away"
Depends
It is a bit much for 2 bags of cement but if it is done as you say that is very reasonable
That price sounds ok, i found it works out alot cheaper if you do all the work your self, its not all that hard.
Alex.
your bus looks cool ,ive got no tools or garage at the moment so ill have to pay but if u think that price sounds ok ive had a price of 1200 so this price sounds pretty good i was hoping someone near me would offer to do it cash cheaper being on the forum and all ,he he gota wish
Try Seb he could prolly do it
:beer
howdy......
that price sounds good, just one word of advice,
PLEASE as a fellow bus owner be careful of who you go to,
i dropped my '76 4 inches all round, rides great but........
but what?
who is Seb?
it all depends on what they are fitting!!!! if its just an adjustable front beam and the springplates down a few notches then its not that cheap!!!
cause once u get down +4" then expect not to be able to change the rear tyres without multiple jacks and fully defalting the tyres!!! the fix there
is adjustable springplates!!! i just got some off indian automotive and they work atreat!!!!
also expect that u wont be able to run standard size tyres as u will bottom out at the front!! (well i did)
all these little things!!
cheers
rhys
r thank you ,the rear tyre thing sounds like a sh@#t fight but i do have two jacks he he the job will "maybe done by custom bugs and buses from wat ive heard cbb and indian do the same quality
i dont mean to but the mockers on anyone but i did have a bad experience maybe my bus was the one in the thousand that didnt go too smoothly, im not going to advertise who that was, u2u me if you want to know
hey CBB and indian do pretty much the same work its just a matter of practicality i use indian only cause i find them more practical for me!!! ask
them if it includes adjustable springplates or not!!! (i got a set will set u back about $230 or so!!)
cheers
rhys
Make sure you go the extra and get torsion bar stiffeners..about $300...Makes the front end a whole new deal as far as lo and not bottoming..Kimm at
Indian will explain all...
