its been a long time since i have had such a horror phone bill.......$195!!!!!!!!!

for one month....and there are only 2 of us in the house.....!

jeezuz.

damn you Optus!!!!!!! apparently we cant get cable internet......so there were something like 300 local calls (mostly for dial up i reckon)

but i paid $10 for an hour call to tassie.........at 10pm at night.....are there no freaking discounts with these arseholes??????

sigh.

well - there is my gripe of the day ---- sorry...nothing to do with vws at all...............!

the man upstairs must really dislike you thorun......u should buy a cheap instrument and busk in queenstreet when u arent a uni......ne way girl have a :beer and forget about your money troubles .....at least for 5 minutes

A 17 yo apprentice at work whinged when he got an $800 mobile phone bill for the month and he was still paying off his $1200 phone.

At least yours is for a good reason and split between two people?

I would only spend $800 for two mobiles and a landline per year!!!!!

when i was living alone i would get $100 phone bills (from dial-up and calling my parents) and then have $25 per month for internet access on top of that!

thats why im saving up for cable now that i live in a house and can get it!

my advice to you... move into a nice big queenslander with a balcony and get cable

thinking of switching to a better plan that would make long distance calls cheaper.....but then we make so many local calls for the internet.....i dunno

What about mobile to mobile? Some even some of the prepaid servicesa re cheaper interstate and over seas than landline sometimes? Well I feel ur pain I used to average $200 a month on my mobile, but have found a new carrier and its now down to only $80 a month!!!!!

i agree ---- it is criminal what they charge for mobile phone calls ----- mobile to mobile or landline to mobile ---- its insane.

i find it hard to believe that mobile calls can cost so much to provide.

they are heaps more expensive than most national calls or international calls.

my mobile phone is prepaid...and i pretty much only send sms.............but calling mobile phones is craziness. telstra and optus should have to explain i reckon!
