Can you you interchange the handles on a split bus middle seat. That is can you fit early model (metal) handles on a later model seat? Are there any other diferences between these two seats? Has anyone ever done this?

have a look im sure it has been done may be as easy as wlelding in nuts where the handles bolt onto????
