Does anyone know where I may be able to get my hands on a relatively cheap second hand 40ft shipping container?
The problem is that on a property we have a trailer and a buggy that need somewhere to live and if we want to build a shed then we need to get heaps
of permits, dig a big hole, fill it with cement, etc etc etc.
I dont think a permit is required to have a container on a block. Does anyone have any experience with this?
Maybe try alocal importer/exporter ? Good luck
Dan
You sometimes see them come up in the trading post under garden sheds and garages.
I havn't seen one for under $1,000 yet though.
You should check with your Council to see if approval is required.

Yeah i did some research and it turns out that only 20ft would be allowed in our area. Probably just going to build a lean to on the back of an existing building and hope the council never sees it.
