Strange VW Hub Cap

Is this a VW hub cap. Found it on ebay. Never seen one like it before

I can honestly say I have NEVER ever seen one like that.... Maybe it was an aftermarket cap back in the 50's and they were NOT allowed to put VW on it... like the current Pedal rubbers ... with V on them...[ because of VW of America sueing everyone that uses the VW emblemetc....] But it IS very Rare... may I say One of a kind... but there has to be 3 others somewhere!! Hang it on the wall and polish it up... :D:o

don,t know about the states but the were made in england and in sydney in the fifties bagded as a wolsely,austin kimberly etc.:alien

Hope its off something good, cause I just won the damn auction. $US5.00 gonna cost a small fortune to get back from Minnasota of all places.

I think I'm gonna have to stop drinking red wine and surfing the ebay site at the same time. Doh doh doh:jesus
