Hi, anyone know anything about importing a VW from Sth Africa?
Anyone done it?
Freight costs to east coast?
Any experiences / info welcome!

I found an aftermarket accessory company on the web, except they wont post around the world....I not sure but it might be that you have to be there and organise the deals yourself...its a good way to go tho cos there is tonnes of vws on the roads over there... and surely many more in the wrecker yards. Cheap too!

Watch out as VW of South Africa made many different Models and many were a mix of old & new panels etc..
Some quite strange.. Kombis with 4 & 5 cylinder watercooled engines upright engines..
1303S "L" Beetles with torsion bar front end, rear swing axles...
