Hey, does anyone have a rough idea how much it would cost to transport a car from Qld to NSW? Any phone numbers of good car transporting companys would be great.

TNT are pretty much the only ones that will transport outside of metro areas..

It cost me about $400 (Manx Buggy, Classed as beatle) from Rockhampton to my door in Sydney...

A bit cheaper Depot to Depot...
Even cheaper if it is Metro to Metro (Brissi to Sydney)

Car must be drivable and have 10cm+ Clearance..

only trouble I had was getting them to take the second set of Tyres for my buggy in the buggy... they want the vehical empty... but talk to the depot and you can swing these sort of things..

what about parts, ie. a gearbox and front beam? Sydney to GC

If you have the time, the cheap airfares could be the go eg $50 one way ticket and $90 for fuel = $140 to get the car back, just go down on the weekend. Thats is ofcourse if its registered and drivable?
