Decent Garage in Sydney City
Stuart Calam - May 14th, 2004 at 10:43 AM

Hello everybody,
I've just bought my first beetle and am loving it. It shakes, clatters and clunks around a bit which is all part of the experience but there is a slightly worrying rattle which I'm blaming on the exhaust.

My knowledge of car engines starts and ends with being able to locate it (and even this was tricky with the vw's engine being at the back!) so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a decent garage in Sydney. I';m based on the lower north shore so somewhere half close to North Sydney would be ideal.

Cheers
Stu.

There's one somewhere over nearly Manly, isn't there? Anybody else help out with the name/suburb?

Or there's a VW specialist right near Uni of NSW. On Anzac Parade I think.

Sorry, not being very helpful. :)

If you wanna know Western Sydney ones, I can be a little more useful.
:P

I heard there was a half decent one in Newtwon..? But as well as being new to beetles I'm relatively new to Sydney so I'm not too sure
