long term city parking?

Hi agian guys n' gals,

In addition to my last thread regarding overnight parking in major cities, I was wondering what the options were of staying on a more long term basis i.e 3/4 weeks in Cairns + 3/4 weeks in Sydney??

Once I have a camper I dont really want to have to fork out for hostels, but I am concerned as to my options :o(

Please help
