going up tomorrow for a look (sunday)
Then I will go back up next sat as that seems the best day for street show & cruise etc.

I'll be there on Saturday - It's a blast - not usually that many VW's attend (perhaps we could change that situation?). I have been to this one
for the last 6 or 7 years - it just keeps getting better.
Hundreds of hotrods and restored pre-'70's cars lined up along the streets of Coolangatta and under the pines along the beachfront. The entire town
is blocked to traffic (so be prepared to walk from where ever you end up parking the car - might even be somewhere in NSW!). The whole event is
geared towards the Rock and Roll era, so there is lots of music, and dancing and well as stalls selling music, clothes and (most importantly!) car
parts.
A great place to go and get some ideas if you are into customising your VW (Volksrods?)

Yep i'll DEFINATELY b goin, but unfort i wont b able to catch up with any of you guys on the sat night 
I have a dance competition finals on that night at the Seagulls Stardust room and its like pre booked tickets
so can't bak out even if i wanted to! But i will b thinking of yas as im dancin my butt off!
And yes whoever said that not many VWs go, YOU'RE RIGHT!
The last two years i've entered Millie and there were NO OTHER ones there, which makes it kinda kewl bcos you're then only one! 
Its a great weekend and one of the best days is the saturday and the monday concert at the Kirra Sports grounds! such an awesome time ALWAYS!

Had a great day at Wintersun.
So many rods to look at, streets full of them....& the evening street cruise was awesome.
Great to see many Klub members up there.
Even saw a manx from Klub VW off road in the street parade....great to see.
