If any of the Victorian V Dub lovers are near the area of Northcote or feel like going for a little drive you should check out The Beetle Bar. Its a coffee/record shop filled with volkswagen paraphernalia at 445 High st . A great place to have club gatherings and be served coffee by fellow V Dub lovers

Glad to hear its finally open. Welcome to the forum, beetle-juice. I suspect we met at the Moe Post Office?

I'm certainly interested in a visit to the Beetle Bar. If I'd had more time, Jen and I might have been able to check it out last Friday when we were over that way. Sounds like it may be worth a trip to Melbourne for though.:thumb

it may of been one of my friends who comes from some where near moe, as i have never been out that way yet, hes obviously been doing a great job of spreading the word would be great to catch up next time your in the city

The cafe is sweeeeeeet

good coffe and there own bean creations, good food great music and funky interior, great art work too - and clothes, and devil sticks and.........ahhhhhh its got it all !

thanks skewy glad you like our place, hope to see more of you in here very soon (not over xmas though - i have to go back to perth for a week) but after that you are all welcome any time very sad that i'll be missing the cruise to apollo bay but there will always be another (i'll supply the coffee!!!):beer just realized theres a very cool smily beer down there so had to add it on!!

Heard theres a place in Melb that seels all this beetle stuff - is it the beetle bar?

at the moment we dont sell lots of vdub stuff, hopefully in the future we will , ive bought vw embroidered emblems from volkswagen dealerships back in perth, they generally sell little things like that so i guess the one in sydney would have them too hope you can track them down

XXX - Try Bradford Badges in Cheltenham. Lisa Bradford has heaps of models and patches etc, the shop sells general car paraphernalia and models, but she drives a karmann ghia, so she has a special interest in VW stuff. I got a model there for a birthday cake once.
