It got very bloody cold last year so seriously rug up in the thermal under wear Especially if your tenting. Ugg boots, doonas and beanies are a MUST.

Yes I will be there with my better half Katie and my mate Brad with his wife so thats four of us (already booked in). Maybe vw-less though unless we can hire a new beetle from somewhere for the drive down!

The engine is sitting on the garage floor waiting to have a new clutch fitted. I need to fit all new brakes,4 balljoints,6seats,2 doortrims and rubbers,battery tray,towbar,roadworthy and rego, run-in new engine.............aaaaahhhhhhh I dont like to think about it. Think positive...you can do it greg. Yep, We'll be there in buttercup our kombi,you cant miss it . Its a painters work truck its suppose to stand out....or so i tell everybody.Just think melted cheese or running paint!:jesus

Maya, we will be staying in a caravan park in downtown Valla apparently. There will be 9 or 10 of us Victorians(Mexicans) invading the place.. Idea being, that we will together basically share the cabin and tent site, facilities and warmth, etc. So if it is central enough, maybe we could do it there somewhere, I dunno..

I thought about that Wes, but I was more interested in the names I would be seeing, as well as pure quantitive info..

I'll be there (type_one) in my KG if I get the replacement motor in by then. If not in my 76 Bay. Also wrecker67 and type3kid will be with me. We are staying in Scotts Head though in a house with a few other non vw mates. Hopefully get some fishing in as well.

The BBQ and get together will be on Sunday around lunch time at Cabin # 26 & 27 same place we had it last year. Its right across from the swap and show area. I think Frazer is bring the BBQ again but he does not want to cook again.

me ID: well duh, probably the most easily seen baja in Aus (green/purple listen for the burnt out exhaust) probably parked next to the stinky skanky dirty black baja so mine looks a little bit better...:thumb
