hehe. wanna know what was inside my old muffler when i pulled it off the car? NOTHING! the damn thing was so old and worn it near disintegrated in my ands!:P

I cut up an old original 40hp one to see what was in there to get some clues how to make one for my 2.7lt Type4.I had already made up some extractors but was having trouble finding a small enough muffler to hide inside the RHR wheel,so decided to build an original type.Have had it running and sounds real good,but a little loud,so am going to make some tailpipe resonators like originals

lol ive doen that..... reamed the holes out too.... guna weld it back up and crank it up.... see how loud it is
