Just to keep u updated , I called SAS today to make a booking for the 1st of Febuary. They were going to call me back today to confirm this, but
I'll give them another call in the morning.
Does this date suit everyone?
Please let me know.
regards
Jak
Sounds good to me.
should be ok seeing its a saturday
sounds good to me!
Whoo Hoo :bounce
I spoke to Aaron from SAS today & we are definantly on for the 1st of Febuary!
What I need now are definate No.s. Its $50 each for up to 20 cars & over 20 cars is $45 each. I'd like to think that we could get more than
20 cars & also half modified & half stock would be good as well so that we could see the whole spectrum.
I have to call SAS back on the 6th of January with a definate No.
The more the better I say. If we can get 30 cars I'm going to try to haggle him down to $40 each.
I'm also going to make up a sheet for everyone to fill out with their name, type of VW, engine capacity & final HP figure so that I can post
the results on the forum if thats OK with everyone.
regards
Jak

Whats this VW 1600 - i thought you would have the u-beaut 5.6L quad Dellorto Type 1 motor in there by then?
Naa, the F1 season has only just finished and Ferarri havent put their 2002 season engines on the market yet.
I'm going to have a hell-of-a-time grafting that fan shroud on I think.
I'll remove the injection and fit 25mm Mikuni carbs off the Suzuki 50.........40 of them.
What do ya think???
Some advice needed.

Does it cost anything to come and have a look?
I don't have an engine worthy putting on the dyno!
Steve
If you pay for me i will let you drive Blue onto the rollers
Hey Steve,
Makes no difference what ya engine is. I'm giving it a go for the hell of it, I've never even been near a dyno before.:thumb
Thats the spirit Peter.
How about everyone e-mails me directly with their details, name, car, capacity etc so I can then make a list & get some No.s together?
