Hello There.

As some of you are aware I organised the Ipswich Invasion on the 25th June which is a friday night.


I'll have to cancel it...
because my BEETLE IS BROKEN
Probably wont be fixed for a few weeks.
I didnt really want to cancel it but since my beetle isnt working.... and i cant go...
Unless anyone can think of an alternative

One more thing to add..

Stupid Beetle.
Ive been saying this everytime i see it in the yard.
It seems as if it always has a problem...
But this time its a Big One.:cry

poor bug. Perhaps after valla? or when the weather warms up? tis trully cold out at night at mo! (esp when you drive a breezie freezie like me!)... like tazz said make it a klubvw event? And if it has to be in cold perhaps lappin followed by coffee? hang in there

Poor Renee What is wrong with your buggie? I hope it gets better soon! We should wait for a few months till the weather warms up and I get mine as well! lol

dont you just love vw's, im still waiting for a replacement gearbox for mine. i reckon an ippy cruise would be great, why do you want to cancel it tho? you could hitch a ride with somebody else :P its not the same tho aye. how many people were going?

An ippy cruise would have been great. I was going to be riding with Renee, aka 'luvmybug' so someone would've had to have had two seats vacant Maybe if we reorganise it for a time a few months ahead or something we could get people coming down from the gold coast and make it even bigger. What do you guys say?

The Ippy lapping invasion sounds sweet and i can't wait for it...but how about a coastal cruise? I know we have the dubs by the pubs but do we have one going to the Gold Coast...like maybe to southport of something

Hey Jo lol Fancy seeing you on here! Hows your bug-hunting going :P Well...im going for a cruise (hopefully) down the coast not this saturday but next saturday night (26th), im cramming 4 fella's into the car lol...should be fun. Anyone wanna come with, or meet us down there?

I passed a gurl in white bug yesterday, There appears to be a lot of white bugs floating around ippy way, or maybe it's just my medication? Which one of you guys was it caus u didn't wave!lol (i did the hand still on steering wheel but smile and half wave thing!)... and don't blame the old man who also hoons round in his white bug,,, unless he had a wig on!

Yeah that'd be cool Josh I will see what I am doing hey. Also Renee (luvmybug) is from around here as well. The bug hunting is going pretty goos but now I am looking at getting a new second hand one

I wave to people in vws all the time its fun.
Theres a white beetle in north ipswich across the road on the corner where the car dealer ship is next to the news agents near the post office.

Once my car is fixed i'll organize some flyers to be handed out to any vw's that i (we) see.

And as of now... the engine is out.
Im going to clean it and try and make it shiny ahaha.... i dont think it will be

2.63, the old man your talking about in the white beetle lives just up the road from where we are. I agree with you he doesn't wave either..........
