I do dumb stuff all the time without thinking... the other day I spraypainted a bumper bar up on blocks in my lounge, thinking that the excess paint
wouldn't settle on the carpet...
it did, surprise, surprise!
It's not really dark or thick but there were a few things on the carpet which when picked up, left clean spots, so it looks pretty bad...
Do I have any chance of getting it out??!
please don't say "spray the rest of the carpet"... I already thought of that!!
the point of spray paint is that it sprays.. :alien
try turps on a soft cloth, and just gently try to rub it out of the carpet.. not too hard or you'll rub it INTO the carpet
Good Luck!
scissors is the only thing i can think of, usually isnt noticable.
tip for next time, any car stuff keep it outside and not on inside carpet

Bugger that! What gets carpet off paint?
LOL how many of US do this and why? I got some oily grud on my carpet on Saturday when i was cleaning my deck lid! Maybe taking our hobby to far but
your garage is as cold as mine , with crap lighting and no power you have no choice. Plus you can watch drag vids whilst working and not far to go and
get a beer!!

Automotive paint thinners will do the job!

try wax and grease remover if the turps doesn't work mate its what trimmers use to get rid of nasty mistakes and it doesn't damage the material. You can buy it from any car store best of luck!:cry
